RQCs are now live online for 26/27 season. The online form makes RQCs much simpler and easier for riders to complete. We have made some improvements over the summer to the form.
The form can be found on our GBpointing website, under participants, jockeys RQC Application – GB Pointing
Please read the first page before you press ‘start now’ and get your hunt form downloaded and signed before you start the online RQC application.
If you are a first-year rider or fit into one of the categories under the BHA medical section, onthe front page, you will need to do a BHA Medical along with your RQC.
Riders Sponsorship Scheme
The Riders Sponsorship Scheme has changed for this season, as the PPA no longer hold the rider’s sponsorship funds. Which means we no longer have to deduct an admin fee from the rider’s sponsorship funds. Meaning the jockey has the full amount of sponsorship given by the sponsor to spend on kit and supplies.
There is still a form which needs to be completed. We have slightly amended it, so please use the new form and submit by email to register your sponsorship. Riding in unsponsored breeches/ clothing may result in a fine. Riders-Sponsorship-agreement-2026-27-season.pdf
First year information
For the second year running we are offering a free coaching session to all first year riders. The first-year voucher will be in the RQC pack once the license has been issued.
All you need to do is contact one of our PPA Approved Jockey Coaches 2026-27-Approved-Jockey-Coach-List.pdf and give them the voucher to be able to claim your free session.
As a first year there are a few steps you need to do in order to get your Point to Point license out; you will need to book and pass a jockey assessment, complete your BHA medical and complete the online RQC form. All information can be found on our website: Jockeys – GB Pointing
