Participants
Resources and information for everyone in the sport, from jockeys and trainers to owners and officials.
Participants and racegoers should be aware of a number of road closures that may affect their journey.
For those travelling from the Southeast (i.e. Kent, East/West Sussex, and Surrey), the M25 will be shut between junctions 9 (A243 Leatherhead) and 10 (A3 Wisley) all weekend, so please allow extra time for your journey and plan an alternative route.
The A40 will be now be closed for resurfacing eastbound and westbound between Oxford and Wheatley on Sunday until 6pm, which could have implications for anyone travelling to Kingston Blount from Oxford and the west/south west. The best alternative route may be to go on the A34 up to the M40 at J9, then down to J6 – the long way round but the traffic should keep moving.
There are also road closures on the A34 southbound all day between Milton and Chieveley, also due to resurfacing works.
