JRL to sponsor the Flat race
A reminder to Owners to let you all know that the JRL sponsored Flat race, originally due to have run at the Carmarthenshire at Ffos Las in November, has transferred to the Glamorgan fixture, due to run on the 23rd March. It is the last race on that card in place of the original unsponsored flat race.
Full race conditions are:
The JRL Group four and five years old Point-to-Point FLAT Race, about 2m, 11st12lb
For horses which are maiden four and five-year-olds, which have not run under the Rules of any recognised Racing Authority (Point-to-Point Steeplechases included; Point-to-Point Flat races excepted), and which have not run in more than two Point-to-Point Flat races or won a Point-to-Point Flat race; for riders who have either (i) ridden more than 5 winners prior to the Thursday before the date of this Point-to-Point Steeplechase or (ii) in addition to a Point-to-Point RQC hold a current Category A or Category B Permit to ride under Rules; to be run over approximately two miles.
And prize money is now – 1st £200, 2nd £125, 3rd £75
Hunter Cert deadline for this meeting is midday Thursday 14th March, entries close 12.30 p.m. Monday 18th March
Please know also that the JRL sponsored race that was due to have run at the recently abandoned South Wold meeting at Revesby Park in January, has now transferred to the Quorn meeting at Garthorpe, Saturday 20th April. It will be the 7th race on the card and start time will be 5.30 pm.
Hunter Cert deadline for this meeting is midday Thursday 11th April, entries close 12.30 p.m. Monday 15th April.
