Ed Rees Racing Club has an exciting opportunity to get involved in point-to-point ownership for the 2026/27 season!
US Officer – is an exciting prospect for the pointing season, and we’re looking forward to seeing what he can do between the pointing flags.
A son of Land Force, out of Alpine Mistral by Gale Force Ten, he has a pedigree that gives us plenty of encouragement for a step up in trip.
He made a very promising start over hurdles at Newton Abbot, finishing second of five over 2m1f, travelling prominently and keeping on well to the finish. Importantly, he did that on good to firm ground, so there should be plenty more to come when conditions are more suitable.
The plan now is to go pointing over 2½ miles, with softer ground very much the aim.
We’re excited to see this young horse progress and believe the move to pointing could really suit him.
As well as the racing, members can enjoy regular yard visits and some great picnics, making it a really sociable and enjoyable way to get involved in point-to-point ownership.
£365 a year’s membership. 1st July 2026 – 1 June 2027

Offering fun racehorse ownership via one of our Hunter Chase Syndicates or investment opportunities via one of our Store Horse syndicates. Our syndicates are formed and organised with the aim of investing into the buying of young horses to introduce into pointing as a career start before moving on to be national hunt stars of the future.
We are excited to have former BBC Racing Correspondent, broadcaster and journalist Cornelius Lysaght as our ambassador. We are thrilled that Cornelius wishes to help our venture make an impact in amateur horse racing and give members a fun social racehorse ownership experience. Various different syndicate options available.

The perfect way to start as an owner is in our Sunday Night Partnership, with shares available in a variety of horses at a one-off cost for the season. The Sunday Night Partnership has had lots of winners, placings, and runners in hunter chases over the years. Last season, the Sunday Night Partnership enjoyed 19 runners with three different horses and had a very successful season with six winners (32% winning strike rate) and multiple placings. We also have other partnerships and sole ownership opportunities available in the yard. Being involved with a horse at Woodway Farm includes regular yard visits to watch the horses gallop and school, regular updates on their progress with lots of pictures and videos, and great raceday experiences (including free passes and paddock entry). Station Yard Racing is based near Stratford upon Avon in Warwickshire and run by Francesca and Charlie Poste. Two horses in training on a lease basis for a one-off fee of £800 for the whole 2025/26 season with no hidden extras. Based on the two horses being in training from September 1st through to the end of May, this works out at less than £3 per day. Over the last two seasons, the syndicate has had multiple winners including an hunter chase and many more placings. The aim is for the syndicate to have fun, with regular updates and a picnic on every raceday to ensure that – win or lose – everyone has a great day out.
This year’s horses will be Kneel Diamond an impressive winner at Edgecote on only his 2nd start last May. He should hopefully progress through the ranks before hunter chasing in the Spring. The second horse for the syndicate will be Corra Bheinn, he was placed in a bumper and was purchased from Doncaster Sales after being recommended to us by his previous trainer Ben Pauling, the plan will be to run him in a maiden before Christmas, please contact Charlie if you are interested.
