Educate: supporting and informing existing participants while attracting new audiences. From explaining the basics of racing to providing guidance for owners, trainers, riders and volunteers, education is at the heart of its mission.

Paul joined the PPA as Chief Executive in June 2024. Born and brought up outside Glasgow, one of his earliest memories was standing by a fence at Ayr Racecourse where his grandfather was a bookmaker. He spent 20 years working in London before moving to the North Cotswolds.
His career has seen him specialise in recruitment, resource management and consultancy though his own business. Working with companies from board-level down looking at every aspect of the organisation and identifying the issues and challenges they face. Designing and delivering solutions, ensuring the business goals can be achieved and every part of a organisation is pulling in the same direction.
Involved in pointing since 2016, initially as a racegoer before becoming an owner via syndicates, racing clubs and partnerships. He currently has interests in a number of pointers and rules horses. He also has experience of the business side of point-to-point and pre-training yards, so understands the commercials of the sport.
His wide range of skills and experience will be fully utilised in the role of Chief Executive.

Tiggy oversees marketing strategy, social media, the official website and both internal and external communications. She also manages PR and national sponsorship, ensuring the sport is represented consistently and engagingly across all platforms. With a focus on innovation and audience growth, Tiggy works to showcase the excitement of point-to-point racing while strengthening its future.
Before joining the Point-to-Point Authority in January 2025, Tiggy built a wealth of experience across the horseracing, equestrian and country industries. A graduate of Hartpury University with a degree in International Horseracing Business, she grew up immersed in the sport, helping on her family’s pre-training and breaking yard.
Her career began as Head of Communications for Dan Skelton, where she managed owner communications, social media, sponsorships and marketing, as well as 3 of the yard’s in-house syndicates. She went on to work for a leading equine and country lifestyle PR and marketing agency, running campaigns for some of the biggest events in the equestrian and country calendar, alongside managing marketing and communications for several racing and bloodstock clients through her own business.
Having also helped run marketing and social media for point-to-point fixtures across the country, and ridden in point-to-points herself, Tiggy brings first-hand experience as a participant and promoter. Since joining the PPA, she has brought all marketing operations back in-house and introduced the GB Pointing Blue mic, a move that has already proved highly successful in reaching new audiences, developing valuable partnerships and modernising the way the sport connects with its fans.
