The Point-to-Point Racing Company (PPRC) is based at Weatherbys office in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire and provides extensive administrative support to Point-to-Pointing.
The PPRC team is responsible for taking and managing entries, horse eligibility and allocating penalties.
They also collate The Planner, produce race cards for around 90 fixtures and manage a team of race-readers and videographers who supply results and race videos.
A customer and team focused horse racing professional with 10 years experience at Weatherbys. During which, I have worked within several areas of the business involved in racing under rules such as; Racing Operations & Equine Services.
Other placements within Bloodstock, Commercial & Studbook have given me a great grounding in understanding the administration of horse racing in the UK.
In 2022 I moved across to the Point-to-Point Racing Company and in July 2024 moved into the role of Operations Manager. Responsible for the administration of the PTP racing calender-:
I have worked at Weatherbys for 22 years with the past nine in the point-to-point department. I support the season’s weekly and day-to-day operations within PTP with entries, penalties, collecting results. And alongside the Racecard department at Weatherbys help proof-read the racecards published internally for many Point-to-Point meetings.
