The provisional fixture list for the 2021/22 point-to-point season has been released.
There are currently 160 meetings over 60 race days, with the first fixture planned for Saturday, October 30 at Bishops Court in Devon. Umberleigh returns as the customary curtain-closer to the season, which is scheduled to conclude on Saturday, June 11. The fixture list will be confirmed by the British Horseracing Authority Board in September.
Two new fixtures of interest this season are the East Anglia Retired Jockeys Club at Higham (Jan 16) and the Yorkshire Jockeys Club at Charm Park (March 6) – great to see our past and present jockeys pulling together in this way.
The pre-Christmas fixture cards will be put up on website as downloadable pdfs in early August, as last year, so that participants can begin planning their early season.
