Good to Soft, watered
Fairly flat, nearly oval new course. All portable fences, left-handed. It has two-and-three-quarter (2 ¾) circuits over 18 jumps.

Dogs are welcome, but should always be on a lead when on site.
There is a family fun dog show being held in the paddock ahead of racing at 12 noon on race day.
Disabled parking area which has more direct access to the public areas on site, plus disabled facilities on site. The site is accessible (flat surface) but is a grass field, so mobility vehicles should be equipped to handle grass/field conditions
There are number of local pubs and hotels to the point to point venue – in Silverton you have the Lamb Inn that provides after race entertainment, and is a great pub for food, with a warm welcome for all. Then, in Thorverton you have the Thorverton Arms which is a great pub for food and all visitors are welcome, close to the point-to-point venue also. In terms of hotels nearby, there is the Bickleigh Castle Hotel and the Fisherman’s Cott who provide fabulous accomodation if you wish to stay for the weekend
Card payments are accepted on the gate, as well as cash payments. Most trade stands accept cards on the site
Licensed bar on site, at the event. There are also hot and cold food and drinks available from the refreshment tent for the public visiting the event.
We have a range of trade stands at the event, from race sponsor stands, to a wide range of smaller rural craft stands in the shopping village area at the event.
There is a bouncy castle, dog show and pony rides at this fixture. Pony rides will be below the paddock area where kids can sit on the pony in racing colours and have their photo taken as a mini jockey! Dog show is being run prior to the fixture starting in the paddock at 12noon.

Online Group tickets available (discounted for groups of 10+) until 8th April. Single adult early bird tickets are available online now until 6th April. Tickets can be purchased on the gate (full price). Card and cash payment can be taken at the venue. Under 15s have free entry.

A whole range of stands are at this year’s fixture from agricultural machinery (Stuart Luxton Digging and Drainage Services), and contractors, to Pollitts car dealership, as well as Farmers’ Friend with a range of country clothing and gifts etc. plus a phisiotherapy and chiropractor clinic (Rock Chiropractors)
