Winter pointing can be tough for stable staff, with early starts, long days and plenty of mud!
However, the West Mercian fixture at Chaddesley Corbett next weekend will see the grooms responsible for the best turned out horse in each race, receive some extra rewards.
Thanks to a joint initiative between the Point-to-Point Racing Company (PPRC) and the Point-to-Point Authority (PPA) and, the winners of the best turned out award will receive not only a £25 prize and a bottle of fizz but also their own Premium VIP subscription to pointtopoint.co.uk worth £125.
The meeting at Chaddesley Corbett is being run entirely by pointing enthusiasts, so it is appropriate that the grooms receive recognition for their hard work and the award for each race will be judged by some of the PPRC and PPA staff, who do such a great job behind the scenes.
