The GB Pointing Blue Mic is the voice of the sport; bringing stories, interviews and behind-the-scenes insight from across the point-to-point community to fans, participants and newcomers alike.
From race day interviews and jockey reactions to features on owners, trainers and volunteers, the Blue Mic helps showcase the people who make point-to-pointing such a unique and important part of grassroots racing.
You’ll see the Blue Mic in action across our social media channels and at events throughout the season, capturing the spirit of the sport and helping us share authentic stories from the heart of point-to-pointing.
This season, the GB Pointing Blue Mic Team will be following all 15 GB Pointing Bonus Races, attending each fixture to capture on-the-day content from across the country. From pre-race build-up, race previews and behind-the-scenes moments to post-race reactions and winner interviews, the team will be bringing the excitement of these key fixtures directly to audiences throughout the season.
In addition to the GB Pointing Bonus Race series, the Blue Mic Team will also attend a number of hunter chase fixtures, helping to connect the the grassroots of British jump racing with the wider horse racing industry through consistent digital coverage and storytelling.
NDCCs (National Digital Content Creators) are a team of content creators dedicated to telling the story of point-to-point racing across Britain.
Positioned around the country, NDCCs support digital coverage at fixtures by capturing interviews, behind the scenes social-first content for the GB Pointing national social media channels. They play a vital role in expanding the sport’s online presence and helping new audiences discover point-to-pointing.
Working for collaboratively with the Blue Mic Team and for The Point-to-Point Authority, NDCCs help ensure consistent, high-quality content is created throughout the season celebrating participants, promoting fixtures and highlighting the unique community that makes point-to-point racing so special.
