Please be aware that the PPORA Club Members Conditions (L2) Novice Riders Championship Final at the Grafton meeting at Edgcote on Sunday 17th May, has been opened up to jockeys who have finished in the first four in any race supported by the PPORA – this will include Conditions, Opens, Intermediates, Restricteds and Maidens, etc.
The PPORA Novice Riders Championship Final, one of the highest value races in the country, with £1,000 to the winner and £1,700 in total prize money.
The conditions of this race now are:
For horses which are owned and ridden by current members of the PPORA; for riders who, up to 1st October 2025, have won not more than ten races under the Rules of any recognised Racing Authority (including Point-to-Points); and who have been officially placed in the first four past the post in any PPORA Club Members race (joint races with Countryside Alliance included) in this season.
