As the Point-to-Point Authority (PPA) publishes dates and courses for the GB Pointing Bonus 4-&-5-year-old Maidens, they are pleased to announce Arena Racing Company (ARC) as a new national partner, sponsoring the Series jointly with Tattersalls Cheltenham and Goffs.
The series is underwritten each season by the Horserace Betting Levy Board (HBLB) to £250,000.
Paul Miller, PPA Chief Executive, said “ We are delighted to welcome ARC on board. It’s a testament to the work we’re doing within pointing and to ARC’s support of grass roots racing. The series will again comprise 15-races across the season, with sponsors and trainers having had input into the courses and fixtures selected for these races.”
Winners of each race qualify for a £25,000 bonus (GB bred) or £15,000 (non-GB bred) when winning certain developmental races-under-rules with a British based trainer.
Miller continued “HBLB have again generously underwritten the series – aimed at producing more top-quality GB bred horses – and we cannot thank them enough for their continued support.
It’s great to see three big names in ARC, Tattersalls and Goffs pulling together, showing support for the Series by sponsoring five races each. Once again the best turned-out horse will be sponsored by Carr, Day & Martin.”
The series commences on the opening weekend of the 2026/27 point-to-point season at Lower Machen on Sunday 1st November.
