BUCKFASTLEIGH SAFETY FACTORS CORRECT AS PER THE PLANNER
After further conversations on Wednesday 12th between the Point-to-Point Authority and the BHA we can confirm that the safety factors shown in The Planner for Buckfastleigh on Sunday 16th February are correct.
The safety factors had been lowered during this summers routine BHA Course Inspection (as they were at a number of courses), but unfortunately this information had not been passed on to the fixture or Fixture Secretary Jacqui Elliott.
The update on the national website on Monday stating the safety factors were incorrect was the result of misinformation between the BHA Course Inspectors and the PPA.
Apologies for any confusion or inconvenience caused and thank you to everyone who raised it.
