Due to recent extreme rainfall, the point-to-point course is completely saturated.
Carmarthenshire at Ffos Las has been forced to abandon due to saturation of the point to point course, and no likelihood of improvement over the coming week. We are grateful for them making this decision public early. It will allow owners and trainers the opportunity to make an informed decision on whether they want to run at Great Trethew, which is programmed for the same day.
To that end the Flat race at Great Trethew has had the Area restriction removed allowing horses from Wales and the Midlands to run in it if they so wish.
