Ahead of Cheltenham’s Hunter Chase fixture on Friday 5 May, please note that if you are entering a horse, its vaccinations must be up to date in line with the Vaccinations Code in the Rules of Racing.
For horses to run in Hunter Chases, their vaccinations now must be uploaded on to the Vaccination App by Noon on the day of entry. For Cheltenham’s Hunter Chase fixture, entries close at midday on Saturday 29 April.
Entries will not be accepted for any horse unless it has a correct vaccination record on the Weatherbys Vaccination App.
A correct vaccination record requires the vaccinations being uploaded AND verified by your veterinary surgeon before entries close. It is your responsibility to check that your vet has verified the vaccinations for your horse prior to entry.
Please make sure you are aware of the current vaccination rules and vaccination intervals. For further guidance please see
https://rules.britishhorseracing.com/#!/book/34/chapter/s3534-vaccinations-code/content
A reminder system is in place to support any trainer who, for administrative reasons beyond their control, cannot meet this deadline and needs a short amount of additional time to resolve any outstanding issues.
If you need any further assistance please contact vaccapp@weatherbys.co.uk BEFORE close of entries, who will be able to assist with the process.
