COURSE CLOSED – Course was flat oval with three fences in each of the straights; fairly flat; 6 fences with the last two jumped 4 times; 3 fences in the back straight, of which the 1st of these was the open ditch; 2 fences before the winning line and 1 after the winning line in the home straight. Times suggested its first incarnation was short of three miles.
