Owners are reminded that entries for the JRL Group sponsored bumper, which is the last race on the card at Buckfastleigh is for BRITISH BRED four and five year olds only, as published on the sponsors page on page 28 of the Planner.
The definition of British Bred is – **’British Bred is defined as a foal born in GB whether sired by a stallion standing in GB or by a stallion standing abroad’.

The JRL Group British-bred four & five year old Point-to Point Flat Race
SPECIAL CONDITIONS For horses which are British-bred only and which are maiden four and five-year-olds, which have not run under the Rules of any recognised Racing Authority (Point-to-Point Steeplechases included; Point-to-Point Flat races excepted), and which have not run in more than two Point-to-Point Flat races or won a Point-to-Point Flat race; for riders who have either (i) ridden more than 5 winners prior to the Thursday before the date of this Point-to-Point Steeplechase or (ii) in addition to a Point-to-Point RQC hold a current Category A or Category B Permit to ride under Rules; to be run over approximately two miles.
The Hunter Cert deadline for this meeting is midday Thursday, 22nd February, entries close 12.30 pm Monday 26th February
