The British Racing School have released the jockey training dates ahead of the 2024-2025 point-to-point season.
Sunday 6th October 2024 – Tim Vaughan Racing, Pant Wilkin Stables, Cowbridge CF71 7GX – Jockey Coach Rodi Greene
Tuesday 29th October 2024 – Alan & Lawney Hill Racing, Woodway Farm, Aston Rowant OX49 5SJ – Jockey Coach Charlie Poste (TBC)
Thursday 31st October 2024 – Pontispool Equine Sports Centre, Taunton TA4 1BG – Jockey Coach Rodi Greene
Friday 29th November 2024 – The British Racing School, Newmarket CB8 7NU – Jockey Coach Charlie Poste
The jockey training days are a great way to tune-up in preparation for the forthcoming season and to receive expert tuition from an accredited British Racing School Jockey Coach.
First-time riders need to be assessed to confirm their competence to ride in point-to-points, before applying for their Rider Qualification Certificate (RQC), and the jockey training days fulfil that assessment requirement.
The jockey training days cost £30.00 per person. First-time riders will have this sum refunded from the cost of their RQC, so technically they can attend for free!
You can book yourself on any of the P2P jockey training and assessment days using this link
