Going

Going Update

The Clerk of the Course and Local BHA Course Inspector walked the course today (Thurs 7 May) and report that we had 6mm rain on Monday and took the immediate opportunity to harrow and roll the course on Tuesday/Wednesday which is looking good and level.

The going is good in places with firmer ground in the home straight and around the top of the Park.

We have a 12,000 litre bowser arriving on Monday and will, with the benefit of an abstraction licence, begin watering to improve the going. We will be agrivating before race day.
