Just before the New Year details of the coming Hunters’ Chases were posted here covering all races scheduled up to including two races at Musselburgh and Wetherby both being run on next Wednesday 1st February. Three of those races have now taken place with four more due in the next few days, and all have survived unlike so many other fixtures recently due to the very wet conditions and some frosty nights. Now it is time to look forward to seven further races between 2nd and 15th February.
Unlike the last list there is more variety in this programme with three of these races not being Opens, we have a Restricted race, one for Novice horses and one with “Grassroots” conditions. Once more there is a good geographical spread of courses, some over varying distances and some good prize money on offer, and especially for the last race on the list at Haydock Park, The Walrus Open Hunters’ Chase.
The list is shown before, and as in previous seasons another covering the remainder of February and into March will be posted in good time to make plans where to go then. Also I would remind you that with no hunters’ chases printed in the Planner this season that the full Hunter Chase Schedule can be downloaded from the website on the following link https://www.pointtopoint.co.uk/news_articles/hunter-chase-new-season-schedule-2020
