Hunters’ Chase Announcement covering races to be run 18th March up to 2nd April.
Below is a schedule of Hunters’ Chases scheduled from 18th March and up to 2nd April. This includes the Randox Health Foxhunters’ at Aintree for which the entries close this Tuesday, 17th March. All are reminded that this race has the additional condition as in previous years that horses are to be ridden by Amateur Riders who are “Category B” or “Category C” Qualified Riders.
Over this period a total of 9 races spread between Wetherby in the north, and Taunton and Ascot in the south, and Bangor in Wales. We have mainly Opens in this collection of races over differing distances, one Grassroots race an also a Maiden and some very reasonable prize money on offer.
The season remains difficult with all the wet and windy weather, but the forecast for the next week is drier so hopefully ground conditions will improve and we can only pray we will not all be stopped in our tracks by the dreaded Corona Virus.
The list of the coming races are shown on the chart below.
