The Point-to-Point Authority is delighted to announce that Isuzu will continue as National Partners for the 2025–26 season, building on the success of the inaugural year in partnership. This renewed collaboration strengthens the bond between two organisations rooted in the countryside and committed to supporting the people who keep grassroots horse racing thriving.

As part of the partnership, Isuzu has once again provided the Point-to-Point Authority with a top-of-the-range Isuzu D-Max but this year, for the season! This exceptionally capable vehicle will accompany the GB Pointing team across the UK as they film interviews, behind-the-scenes content and stories from the heart of the Point-to-Point community.

Growing the Partnership to New Heights

Following a hugely successful first year, the relationship between Isuzu and British Point-to-Pointing is reaching new heights this season. The partnership will introduce a number of exciting initiatives, including a brand-new behind-the-scenes video series offering exclusive insights into life in Point-to-Point racing, as well as a range of event activations where spectators can experience the rugged capability and refined design of the D-Max first-hand.

Driving the Sport Forward

GB Pointing is the grassroots of British horse racing, championing riders, trainers, owners, volunteers and supporters. With the sport taking place in some of the most remote and challenging rural environments, it relies on vehicles capable of tackling tough terrain, towing significant loads, and performing day after day.

The Isuzu D-Max is perfectly suited for this demanding world. With a 1-tonne payload, 3.5-tonne towing capacity and Trailer Sway Control, the D-Max is ideal for towing horseboxes and transporting equipment. Its shift-on-the-fly 4WD system, rear differential lock, and Rough Terrain Mode ensure that it excels across mud, hills, and challenging countryside conditions—mirroring the resilience and determination found across Point-to-Point racing.

Shared Values, Shared Vision

Paul Miller, Chief Executive at the Point-to-Point Authority, commented:
“We’re delighted to see Isuzu continuing its commitment as Headline Partner for a second season. The brand’s enthusiasm for Point-to-Pointing has been fantastic to witness, and their involvement helps bring our sport to new audiences across the UK. This growing partnership celebrates shared values of reliability, endurance, and community spirit, qualities that lie at the heart of both British Point-to-Pointing and Isuzu.”

George Wallis, Head of Marketing at Isuzu UK, added:
“We’re thrilled to rein in another exciting season with GB Pointing. The bond between our two worlds is a natural fit; both are rooted in rural life, resilience, and performance. Just as riders trust their horses to tackle tough terrain, our customers trust the D-Max to take on every challenge. It’s safe to say this partnership is off to a flying start once again!”

Looking Ahead

With the partnership entering its second year, Isuzu UK continues to deepen its support for Britain’s rural communities. Together, Isuzu and GB Pointing look forward to a season filled with compelling stories, unforgettable race days and continued celebration of the grassroots spirit that makes Point-to-Point racing so special.
