Just Your Type travelled from Gloucestershire to Yorkshire and won his second classic point-to-point of the season.
In January The Max Comley-trained 11-year-old landed the Lord Ashton of Hyde’s Cup at Cocklebarrow, and now he has followed up with victory in Yorkshire’s finest, the £1,000 Grimthorpe Gold Cup at Sheriff Hutton.
He carries the colours of Neil O’Hara.

Tommy O’Brien was set to ride Just Your Type yesterday because the horse’s regular rider, James King, was booked for commitments at Edgcote, but when that meeting was called off he was able to get back in the saddle.

Elen Wylie, Comley’s girlfriend, led the winner up, although Laura Ireland looks after him at home.
Just Your Type is now qualified for a big test in the spring.
