For Owners wishing to make entries for this year’s Gloucester Races meeting at Maisemore Park on the 29th March, please be aware that the course this year will be running RIGHT-HANDED.
The course itself is totally flat and oval, bordered on two sides by the River Severn. There are seven metal fences, all well-built, making the course generally popular with owners and trainers. Watering is available to ensure optimal conditions.
This year, the course will run right handed with SF: 12/16/18.
3 mile race, there are 7 fences and 18 jumps, including 1 Open Ditch that is jumped twice (fences 7 and 14).
The 2 mile 5 furlong race also has 7 fences and 16 jumps, with an Open Ditch jumped twice (fences 5 and 12).
2 mile Flat Race for those interested.
