Lavorante’s (116) win in the Conditions race at the Cotley was the stable’s fifth winner from the last six runners – the unsuccessful one a case of an unseated rider- and the team is now operating at a 40% strike rate. Drying ground will only help their cause as Price is renowned for saddling progressive top of the ground performers. One of those could be Shareyourbiscuits  (100) who proved well suited to the conditions when taking, albeit narrowly, the Restricted at Larkhill. Having finished near last on all four outings for Dan Skelton his transformation is remarkable and with further entries over the Easter weekend he should be followed. Elsewhere the racing was uninspiring from a time and perspective – Boley Bob (106) doing as little as necessary to score at Morpeth and Woodstock Octo (98) the same at Trebuddanon though Mount Sinai (109) clocked a useful time in the Ladies at Howick to take his tally to three wins from five starts.
