Britain’s most valuable Point-to-Point of the season takes place on Saturday 21st March at the Overton Farm course in South Lanarkshire, where the Lanarkshire & Renfrewshire and Eglinton fixture has total prize-money of £6,500 on offer with a minimum first prize of £500.
Both Maiden Races (2m4f & 3m) and both Conditions Races (2m4f & 3m) have a prize fund of £1,000 which is divided as follows: 1st £500, 2nd £300, 3rd £150, 4th £50.
In addition, both the 3m Mixed Open & 3m Mixed Open for Novice Riders have a prize fund of £1,250 which is divided as follows: 1st £700, 2nd £300, 3rd £200, 4th £50.
The leading owner on the day will receive £250 and the William G Young Trophy, while the leading jockey will receive a prize and the Alex Fergusson Memorial Trophy.
The course lies adjacent to the A72 in Crossford and is easily accessible off the M74. (Post code is ML8 5QF).
Admission is £15 per person including a racecard, with under 16’s free.
