Please be aware that due to the Modbury Harriers being abandoned recently, that the JC/RoR Veterans’ race originally scheduled for the meeting has now been transferred to the South Pool Harriers, due to take place on the 11th February, and is listed as the last race on the card, to become race 7. It will run at 3.40 pm – all other race timings remain as published.

Race 1 – Tatts/Cheltenham four and five yo MAIDEN – 12 Midday
Race 2 – INTERMEDIATE – 12.35 pm
Race 3 – Totnes & Bridgetown Champion Chase MIXED OPEN – 1.10 pm

Race 4 – 6+ MAIDEN for Horses and Geldings – 1.55 pm
Race 5 – JC MAIDEN for Mares and Fillies – 2.30 pm
Race 6 – RESTRICTED – 3.05 pm
RACE 7 – JC/RoR VETERAN HORSE (COND L2) – 3.40 PM
The veterans’ race that was originally scheduled for the abandoned Harkaway meeting has now also transferred and will be run as the FIRST race at the re-arranged Knightwick Races on the 18th February, replacing their original Veterans’ race. Race timings remain as published.

The full race conditions for the JC/RoR Veteran Horse race is:
Special Conditions:
For horses which aged ten years and over which on or since 1st October 2022 have not won any race under the Rules of any recognised Racing Authority (Hunter Chases and Point-to-Points excepted).
Penalties:
For each win on or since 1st October 2022 in a Hunter Chase to carry 7lb extra; for each win in a Mens, Ladies or Mixed Open Point-to-Point in this period to carry 5lb extra; and for each win in a Conditions race at the same Level or higher (to include Confined, Club Association, Service or Society Point-to-Point races) in this period to carry 3lb extra. Maximum penalty to be carried is 10lb. Penalties are cumulative.
