Please be aware that the JC/RoR Veterans race, that was due to have been run at the recently abandoned South Wold meeting at Revesby Park, has been transferred to the West & North Norfolk, on Sunday 21st April. The conditions of the existing veterans race on that card will be changed to meet requirements of the JC/RoR race conditions. It remains as the 5th race on the card and will start at 4.20 pm.
The full conditions for this race now are:
Special Conditions:
For horses which aged ten years and over which on or since 1st October 2022 have not won any race under the Rules of any recognised Racing Authority (Hunter Chases and Point-to-Points excepted).
Penalties:
For each win on or since 1st October 2022 in a Hunter Chase to carry 7lb extra; for each win in a Mens, Ladies or Mixed Open Point-to-Point in this period to carry 5lb extra; and for each win in a Conditions race at the same Level or higher (to include Confined, Club Association, Service or Society Point-to-Point races) in this period to carry 3lb extra. Maximum penalty to be carried is 10lb. Penalties are cumulative.
The Hunter Cert deadline for this meeting is Thursday 11th April, entries close 12.30 pm Monday 15th April.
